Collection of Candidate Information

During our recruitment processes, we collect information about all candidates that choose to register with us. This information is relevant and appropriate and collected from our candidates and their referees, which are nominated by the candidate. This information may include the candidate’s name, contact details, qualifications, interests and employment history.

During the recruitment process, we may be asked by a prospective employer to obtain references about your past performance, skills, experience and attitude to work. The process involves our consultants contacting one or more referees nominated by you for this purpose. We will contact you to ask for your permission before facilitating these references.

You have the option not to provide us with the information we request. However, this may impede on our ability to perform the services we offer both you and our clients in the most effective manner. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Use and Disclosure

Throughout the recruitment process, the information we collect may be provided to a prospective employer. We will not disclose any personal information to a prospective employer without your permission. We may also provide your personal information to others in accordance with the terms of the National Privacy Principles.

We may also use your personal information to respond to your enquiries and to provide you with direct marketing material which we feel may be of benefit to you. You may at any time request to be removed from our mailing lists by contacting our Privacy Officer.

Access to Information

At any time you are able to obtain access to the personal information we collect. To facilitate this, please contact our Privacy Officer on (02) 9286 3833. We may charge you a fee for the provision of this information. You may ask us to change any information which you believe is inaccurate or out of date and we will take action to fulfil your request.
