An opportunity has arisen to join one of Australia’s leading discount retail chains. Based in North Ryde and very close to public transport, this organisation is growing at a very rapid rate.

We are seeking an experienced logistics and inventory controller to join the team. This role will see you responsible for the control of product distribution across all stores nationally and ensure correct ranges and products are distributed in order to maximise sales and profits.

Your duties will include;

Management and control of product allocation distributions to stores nationally
Ensure product sales are reviewed regularly and stock is allocated accordingly
Provide stock quantification to buyers for order placements
Ensure buyers have placed manual continuity orders
Manage weekly promotions & allocate to buyers
Provide reports on; Product sell through department catalogue, report on product apologies, Day 1 stock percentages
Analyse departments continuity ranges, work with buyers & planners to report on product performance
Report on stocks to buyers
Monitor progress of stock in sales trends

In order to be considered for this role, you must:

Have previous experience within inventory and/or supply chain
Have strong excel skills
Possess a strong understanding of products and market trends
Attention to detail
Good communication and organisational skills
