Staff it was founded in 1994 by Gemma Kelly who had a vision to create a company that stood out amongst the others in the recruitment industry. Gemma saw that the industry lacked differentiation and she was committed to being different.
We wanted to develop a company that was known for its friendliness, professionalism and for doing things differently. Hence, the name which always earns a giggle, and the logo which promotes fun and happiness.
The Staff it culture and brand has extended into the relationships we enjoy with our clients, and into our internal team. Staff it staff are happy, friendly, professional and genuinely interested in looking after you - whether it’s for a career issue or finding the best staff for your company.
On the first day in business, the phone rang and a client ordered twenty people for a project. That’s how it all began, and we’re pleased to say that we still have that same relationship after all this time.
During the early years of business we relied heavily on the advocacy of our clients and candidates who knew that they were dealing with a special company in Staff it. The business grew dramatically each year through this means, with one year reaching growth levels of 400%!
Since that time, Staff it has grown considerably and some things have changed. Our team has expanded, we offer a wide range of services apart from recruiting (see our Client Services page for more details) and have formalised the Staff it advocacy of the early days - we now have a huge referral program that rewards you for recommending clients and candidates to us.
